The BBQ Spit is a Fixed Pouch Item in Monster Hunter World (MHW). It allows Hunters to cook Raw Meat into Well-Done Steaks to boost their Stamina.

Just what you need to cook meat. A must-have item for any hungry Hunter.

The BBQ Spit is given to Hunters by the Research Commission as part of their preparations for exploring the New World.

While in the field, the BBQ Spit can be used from the Item Bar with square-ps4-controls-small / controls-xbox-x / E when Raw Meat from Small Monsters has been brought along in the Item Pouch. See Loadouts for information on configuring Item storage and use.

The cooking process is all about timing (or careful listening.) Once the Raw Meat is cooked to perfection, take it off the heat with circle-ps4-controls-small / controls-xbox-b / key-mouse_r
Be careful! Removing it too early will result in Rare Steak, which does not provide the Stamina-maintaining effect of Well-Done Steak. Failing to remove the meat in time will result in Burnt Meat, which provides only a small amount of Stamina.

Practice makes perfect with cooking out in the field, and before long you'll be an expert at cooking Raw Meat just right!

Going to safely assume this must mean that monster hunter is no longer PC friendly because right-click ain't working and there's clear evidence it's not before this last update

When meat becomes well-done, it flashes white, then its texture changes to a delicious crispy golden-brown. If you can't hear the song, just read the meat.

As a tip, when you are cooking, a little jingle/song will play. After it comes to a 'pause', it will 'pause' again, the meat should be perfectly cooked by now. It may take some timing to get it right, but practice makes perfect, yeah?
