Big Burly Bash is a Master Rank Assigned Quest in Monster Hunter World (MHW).
Client: Field Team Leader.
This assignement is only for the few heroic hunters who can handle the rigors of being a true master hunter. Show everyone what you're capable of! (Completing this quest unlocks the MR cap limit)
Objective
- Hunt a Tempered Brachydios
- Hunt a Tempered Glavenus
Big Burly Bash Information
- Conditions: MR 69 or higher and having a certain minimum amount of levels across your Guiding lands regions.
- Failure Conditions: Time expires, Faint 3 times.
- Level: Master Rank

Other Monsters in this quest:
Acquisition: Upon hitting MR 69 this quest will be available to raise your MR cap.
Tip: Fireproof Mantle can be useful considering both monsters deal 
Fire damage and the Brachydios' 
Blastblight can be neutralized with it.
Anonymous18'07"30 with bow. i was entering in the fight dreading that brachy would be a pain in the ass, but it went pretty smoothly. glavenus tripped me up a bit, but he was a fair fight. hit all my wall slams, used terrain traps, and whenever possible, tenderized big parts. also, captured. not slayed.

This one is a fun fight, only had problems with barnos at area 8! They always cancel my chance to wall splat the Glavenus

Quest took about 25 minutes solo with the FF Barioth Gunlance. I started with Glavenus instead of Brachy. Used traps to capture when they were low enough. I did have Guard Up and Guard 5 for the encounter.

Should be allowed to subcontract this task out to Deviljho. That expired pickle would be able to solo both of them in under five minutes.

People complaining about this quest. But AFTER Raging brachy of the hell aka "ora ora ora" in comparison to that this quest is easy. As Many said, take care of brachy first, then go with Glavy.
I made all quests solo because i completed first original MH on PS2 and MHFU in PSP emulator un offline mode, solo.

Something to add, a friend had to be Level 5 on a Guiding Lands Region for this to appear.

i absolutely despise this mission, barely scraped by with less than 10 seconds left in the mission, its another one of those "how much can we push our players endocrine system before they vomit and pass out" the DEVs in charge of coming up with these types of missions need a slap, this is too damn much, especially this late game, because almost no one makes it this far, the player pool is only in the hundreds on Xbox alone, so no one ever shows up for the SOS, and the Brute Wyvern AI jump bug is outrageous in this mission "oh a palico or a tail raider, i better long jump back and forth a dozen times as to not step on them"
they either need to stop with all this super hard missions that push peoples Adrenalin to the absolute limit, or adjust the story difficulty so more players can get through, seriously on Xbox less than 6% of MHW players made it past barioth, so we have a player pool so small you get 0 SOS help on anything above MR 68

Finally unlocked this quest! As a hammer main, I feel like Brachy will give me a well deserved challenge. Glavy’s in for it though lol

Not fun at all. No one answering sos for this. Tried doing it solo several times as a bow user and kept getting steam rolled. >.< seriously not fun.

Glavenus is the easier one. If you take down Brachy first you'll probably be in the clear.

This quest is so fun I want to blow my brains out! I LOVE getting two shot by Glavenus despite having well over 700 DEF and 3 Vitality Gems! Let's not even mention how well they tested Brachydios's leaping air punch tracking, did you know it can hit you around a corner from all the way across the area? I found that out today as it fainted me each time I approached it despite coming into the area from a different entrance each time. SO *****ING GODDAMNED FUN!!!!

13'10" with stick aquashot lbg. Honestly, if it wasn't for my stupidity, this could've been 8 min run easily. I'm new with lbg and captured both so there's that. Sticky lbg feels like a cheat lmao.
