Dragonblight Effect

Effect on Hunters

While under the effects of Dragonblight, a Hunter will deal no Elemental Damage or Status Effect buildup with their Weapons. This effect lasts one minute.

Curing Dragonblight

Dragonblight can be cured by consuming a Nulberry or using a Cleanser Booster, or it can be prevented entirely by having 20 Dragon Resistance, the Blight Resistance Skill, the Blight Res Up or Blight Negated effects from the Hunting Horn, or by wearing the Dragonproof Mantle.

Dodge-rolling will take about one second off the remaining effect duration.

Does this also negate stun damage? since it's listed as an ailment in the field guide but not really treated the same way as other ailments in terms of how they apply to weapons.

It stops them from using their special abilities potentially, for example val hassak will not use his effluvial attack as much
