Farcaster is a consumable Item in Monster Hunter World (MHW). These useful items can be crafted from materials gathered in the field and brought along on hunts.

 

Call for a Wingdrake to transport you to the nearest Camp. Can also be used during battles.

When used from the Item bar while in the field, the Farcaster will immediately make the Hunter invulnerable while a Wingdrake swoops down to take them to the nearest Campsite. This is similar to fast-travelling from the Map, but it can be used during combat and it can only be used once.

This is especially useful when a Hunter runs out of restoratives or needs to escape combat to avoid carting.

Farcasters are disabled during:

  • Fighting in the Arena
  • Safi'jiiva's Sapphire of the Emperor
  • Behemoth's Ecliptic Meteor
  • Raging Brachydios during the final phase
  • When fighting Alatreon
  • Fatalis's Schrade's Demise

How to Acquire Farcaster

This Item can be obtained through Crafting. Additionally, both the normal version and an EZ version of the Farcaster can be found in the Supply Box on some Quests.
