Glider Mantle is a type of Specialized Tool in Monster Hunter World. Glider Mantle allows you to stay in the air longer and glide.
How to Get Glider Mantle
- Received after completing the Coral Highlands expedition.
Glider Mantle Notes
- The Glider Mantle has the most uptime of all the Mantles, it is not being removed through taking damage, and only has a 30-second cooldown before it can be used again.
- Like other Mantles, this will cover your armour partially, giving you a different appearance. When recharging, it has a wireframe aesthetic.
- Glider Mantle increases mount buildup applied by 20%.

Upgraded version of this mantle is underrated imo. Even with the nerf, it still recharges faster than u can use it, u get 2 free level 4 decoration slots with this, plus easier mounts. More people should use it.

i wish we can someone use this mantle to dog fight (air combat) the Kushala dragon
You select it like you would a tool from your item menu. It will also automatically be used if you attempt to use an updraft shortcut, such as the ones in Coral.

"it is not being removed through taking damage, and only has a 30-second cooldown before it can be used again." Wrong! It's exactly 120s cooldown and effect duration time is 180s, (it mean, 120s from when the mantle effect ends) -> total time from used to can be used again is 300s. (note : 180s effect duration only cont when you jump firsttime, if you just stand, effect duration will be 420s)
