Gunpowder is a Material and a Pouch Item in Monster Hunter World (MHW). These useful parts are collected by Hunters to craft new Items, and can be brought along on hunts in the Item Pouch.
A dangerous substance that explodes when struck or heated.
Gunpowder serves only as a crafting ingredient in making Large Barrel Bombs. Unlike regular Material Items, Gunpowder can be brought to the field in the Item Pouch to enable crafting on the fly.
Gunpowder should not be confused with Gunpowder Level 2 and Gunpowder Level 3, both of which are used to upgrade Bowgun Ammo.

How to Acquire Gunpowder
This Item can be obtained through Crafting and can be used to craft Large Barrel Bombs.
