Hardshell Powder is a consumable Item in Monster Hunter World (MHW). These useful Items can be crafted from materials gathered in the field and brought along on hunts.
A mysterious powder that produces a cloud around the area that temporarily strengthens defense.
When used from the Item Bar, Hardshell Powder boosts the Defense of all Hunters and Allies in a moderate radius by 20. This boost lasts for 180 seconds or until carting or Quest completion, and stacks with boosts to Defense from Hunting Horn melodies, Canteen meals, and other consumables. The radius of effect is enough to cover the extent of most fights.
