Large Barrel Bombs are consumable Pouch Items in Monster Hunter World (MHW). Bomb items can be placed on the ground and triggered by attacks to deal damage.
A powerful bomb triggered by external physical impact.
When used from the Item Pouch while in the field, Large Barrel Bombs are placed on the ground. If they are triggered by the Slinger or an attack they will explode, Dealing 80 True Damage.
About Bomb Items
Once placed, Barrel Bombs and Bounce Bombs detonate/launch on a timer; 3 seconds for normal Bombs and 1 second for Bounce Bombs. Large and Mega Bombs must be triggered by the Slinger, attacks from Weapons or Monsters, or other Bomb items.
The damage dealt by Bomb items is not modified by a target's Body Part Multiplier, meaning they are especially useful for breaking Monster parts. The Bombardier Skill can be used to increase the amount of Damage dealt by Bomb items, while the Partbreaker Skill causes them to deal more Parts Damage - though this will not show on the visible Damage number.
The Damage of all Bomb items are as follows:
- Barrel Bomb - 20
- Bounce Bomb - 20
- Mega Bounce Bomb - 30
- Large Barrel Bomb - 80
- Mega Barrel Bomb - 150
Damage values are multiplied by 1.2x against High Rank Monsters, 2.4x against Kulve Taroth, and 3x against Arch-Tempered Kulve Taroth.

How to Acquire Large Barrel Bomb
Bomb items are obtained through Crafting. In addition, Barrel Bombs, Bounce Bombs, and Large Barrel Bombs are also available for purchase from the Provisions Stockpile in Astera.

AnonymousNow as I'm sure all you who clicked on this part of the pave already know this, but when a monster is asleep, setting up these things from all the players in the party add up to 640 damage to a monster. 2 of them from your own arsenal adds up to 160 damage. Always keep these on hand because they really do reduce the hunting times.
