Polished to a Sheen in Monster Hunter World (MHW) 
Iceborne is an Observation Log. Observation Logs are given by the Lynian Researcher located in Seliana which requires a Hunter to capture different photos for him.
A Plunderer won't go anywhere without its trusty Plunderblade. Its peculiar shape hints at just how difficult it must be to maintain. I can just imagine theme diligently polishing thier blades at their hideout... But my imagination can only get me so far! I need to see it for myself!

Polished to a Sheen Notes
- Obtainable in Plunderers lair in Area 15.
- Observe the plunderer on the rocks overhead to the right of the small lake with fish. Capture at any time during the animation where the plunderer is messing with its weapon as per picture above for gold.

To help anyone as stupid as me, i'll rephrase the above notes. the plunderer is very visible at the back of the lair on the rocks, past the group of 3 plunderers, just above, behind and slightly to the right of the pawswap (assuming your unity is high enough for pawswapping).
