Shieldspire is a Palico Gadget in Monster Hunter World (MHW).
A massive Protector shield used to defend against attacks. It can also be used to provoke monsters, drawing their attention.
How to get Shieldspire
This Palico gadget is obtained by completing the Grimalkyne sidequest in the Wildspire Wastes.
Start the sidequest by tracking down a Grimalkyne in the Wildspire Wastes with your Palico in tow. The Grimalkyne will ask you to find three of its friends, and capture them using the Capture Net. Track them down, capture them, and bring them back to the first Grimalkyne to be rewarded with the Shieldspire Palico Gadget.
Levels and new gadgets
Level 5- Shieldspire bash unlocked and Shieldspire is on available on command
Level 10- Shieldspire bash available on command
Level 11- Shieldspire stooge unlocked
Level 15- Shieldspire stooge available on command

Not sure how useful this is since Palico already have monster's attention for about 80% of the fight lol

If you need help getting the Shieldspire check out this little tutorial. Using the Ghille mantle helps with capturing the little guys, but If they get away they will respawn in a few minutes elsewhere on the map, just look for the Grimalkyne icon on your map (looks like two rabbits to me lol)

I got this from a quest located in the Wastes(second zone), in the area with the quicksand trap there is a drop off on the North side. Inside the cave is a new camp location, and a quest to search out three Protectors (you have to use your capture net on them).
i thought it was bad until i was struggling with raging brachy, my palico takes the heat off of me so i can charge my switch axe and ****. underrated gadget
