Smoke Bomb is a consumable Item in Monster Hunter World (MHW). These useful items can be crafted from materials gathered in the field and brought along on hunts.
Creates a large cloud of smoke wherever it lands.
Smoke Bombs can be used from the Item Bar while in the field to produce a cloud of smoke at the Hunter's feet. This smoke cloud functions similarly to that of the Sporepuff, obscuring the vision of Monsters caught inside and hiding any Hunters, regardless of their actions or distance from the Monster. The cloud lasts for ten seconds and ceases to hide a Hunter if they attack a Monster.
The Smoke Bomb is especially useful for Hunters who need to ensure their safety while recovering Health, maintaining Sharpness with Whetstones, or reloading Bowguns.

How to Acquire Smoke Bomb
This Item can be obtained through Crafting.
Need to sharpen in a heated battle? Throw one of these down and crouch on it to lose aggro. This does not work on Diablos that are burrowing. This essentially functions as a portable hiding spot for a limited duration. Some monsters will stand around doing nothing for the smoke bomb duration after losing sight of your hunter, this is easily taken advantage of in multiplayer.
