Vitality Mantle is a type of Specialized Tool in Monster Hunter World. Absorbs a fixed percentage of damage received from monsters; its effects diminish if the damage taken exceeds its limits. (Adds additional Health Bar). Specialized Tool in Monster Hunter World.
How to Get Vitality Mantle
- Complete the quest "Into the Bowels of the Vale"
- Make sure to talk to the Field Team Leader after completing the quest to obtain the mantle
Vitality Mantle Notes
- Vitality Mantle+ is obtained through finishing the MR1 quest "This Here's Big Horn Country!"
- Vitality Mantle Absorbs up to 100 HP worth of damage.
AnonymousGives an effective extra 100 HP. 100 HP is the base for the player, 150 after eating or with the Health boost skill, 200 after eating AND having the Health Boost skill. It's okay early game but it won't even fully tank a hit late game.

To get access to the quest to upgrade the vitality mantle in Iceborne, you must first do the quest to upgrade the ghillie mantle.

FOR ANYONE WONDERING It basically dooubles your HP Once your "extra HP" gained by the mantle breaks, the mantle effect is done. :)
