Fluffy Moly is an Endemic Life creature in Monster Hunter World (MHW). These animals and insects are found out in the field, and can be captured by dedicated Hunters looking to research the New World.
Oh... oh my gosh... It's so... so. SOFT! It's like a fluffy pink cloud! C-Can I keep it and use it as a pillow? Please?
Fluffy Moly Location
You can find Fluffy Moly in (if Coral region is level 5+):
- The Guiding Lands, sector 10 (near the fishing hole where grimalkynes occasionally spawn)
- The Guiding Lands, sector 11 (on top of the ridge, immediately west of the herb)
Fluffy Moly Capturing Rewards
You can capture Fluffy Moly by using the infinite item "capture net" then aiming for the creature with the control's trigger and pressing Square on your controller when the outline of the frame turns orange.

These can spawn in groups of regular Molys in two places: either by the fishing pond or on top of the "bridge" separating Area 11 (the arena where Silver Rathalos spawns) from the rest of the Coral area. One of the group will be pink - that's the one you're looking for. The pink one will always hide first, so make sure to bring the Ghillie Mantle.

With Forest and Coral areas maxed at 7, I found a group of molys hanging out in the Coral area in the drop down place with the small pond and single andangler (where grimalkynes and palicoes sometimes spawn), there was a single fluffy moly among regular ones. I found the other Fluffy moly in the Forest area in the 'secret' crawl space where the geckos hang out and where it branches to the bonepile dead end (with mushrooms) and the medium sized pond. They were right there immediately after I climbed under the log to the area. Maybe it's just me, but not taking my Palico cat seems to spook them less. Could be my imagination but unless I'm really fast at grabbing them (like 1.5 seconds fast) they dive underground making me miss.
