You can find Mossy Moly in (if Forest region is level 5+):
- The Guiding Lands, Sector 6 (near the Herb in the East)
- The Guiding Lands, Sector 7 (near the Honey in the West)
Mossy Moly Capturing Rewards
You can capture Mossy Moly by using the infinite item "capture net" then aiming for the creature with the control's trigger and pressing Square on your controller when the outline of the frame turns orange.

More frequent for all others, if ur having trouble with others level up the area to 7

It is actually beyond the Honey to the west, you have to crawl through the hole.
it will be next to the Herb plant just off to the right of the spider web.
use your surveyor set to look for them before you crawl through unless you put on your Ghillie mantle first.
Also I do think if your world area level is 7 it's more likely to appear so far once every 20ish missions for mossy
