Gastronome Tuna is an Endemic Life creature in Monster Hunter World (MHW). These animals are found out in the field, and can be captured by dedicated Hunters looking to research the New World.

 A fish that eats anything-- allowing you to sometimes get items from its stomach.

These big fish like to snatch away bait! Use the rod's flexibility to your benefit to bring it in, and be sure to check it for items!

• Ancient Forest, sector 4 on the shore near Kestodon
• Wildspire Waste, sector 6 (Central Camp) inside the camp
• Rotten Vale, sector 10
• Elder's Recess, sector 8 (Eastern Camp) inside the camp
• Hoarfrost Reach, area 9

Gastronome Tuna Capturing Rewards

You can capture Gastronome Tuna by using the Fishing Rod and succeeding in the fishing mini-game.

• House placing: Pond
• Other rewards: 150 RP (400RP if Great Size),
  a random item will drop next to the player (Sushifish Scale, Golden Scale, Baitbug, Lightcrystal,...)
