Just got them all today. I have some advice from my experience that might save you some time if you're going for this. Get all your base monster crowns from Deep Green Bolero, Effluvial Opera, etc. You can get Giant Crown Teo from that one quest (the one with both him and Luna) because he's guaranteed to be a Gold Crown.
In my experience, I didn't get any crowns from Tempered Monsters or any Investigation that did not have at least a silver and gold reward. So, discard any Investigations that don't have silver/gold - I'd still run Tempered for the reward they grant (if you're holding out for a specific deco or you want to augment your gear).
Deploy your Tailraider Safari to the areas you want Elder Dragons (or Black Diablos) as they can give you Investigations. I wish I had known this earlier, because I did have to spend hours wandering around and collecting tracks for Investigations on specifically Kushala Daora. It just wouldn't spawn a large Gold Crown for me...until today. Save some time, deploy your Tailraiders.

already got all achievements myself except the all gold large and gold mini i already have the 10 gold large and mini achievement if you want to get the all gold large and gold mini or even the platinum you will have to spend alot of time into gold crown searching only like me cuz silver crown will not do the job and gold is kinda rare i will probably end up with 300 hours or less when i will get that achievement myself while i am at almost 200 hours

WTF, CAPCOM?! On-line Trophies? SERIOUSLY! The crown ones I am fine with but needing PS+ for trophies I am NEVER fine with. =/
Giant crowns and miniature are going to take the most time if they're as rare as some of the games. :D

A lot easier if you save scum for Gold Crowns. After approximately 10 hunts I reload an old save (if I didn't get any Gold Crowns) so I keep my Investigations and my Gold Vouchers
