Goldspring Macaques are an Endemic Life creature in Monster Hunter World (MHW) 
Iceborne. These animals and insects are found out in the field, and can be captured by dedicated Hunters looking to research the New World.
Whoa! A single gleaming golden monkey mixed in with the hot springs tour group! It's glittering! Dazzling! And...soft-boiled?

You can find Goldspring Macaques in:
- Hoarfrost Reach, Area 2, 6, 13, 17

- House placing: 1F Floor, 2F Floor, Hot Spring
- The 'Golden Gleam' trophy/achievement
- Other rewards: 120 Research Points
Goldspring Macaque Notes
- "A Pearlspring Macaque variant seen very rarely in the Reach. The cause of its coloration is under research."
- Sizes: ♕ 116.36 ~ ♕ 170.94
- A rare variant of the Pearlspring Macaque
- A guaranteed spawn is in the hot spring of area 6 in the event quest "Monkey Business".
- Normally found perched on a rock in the hot springs in the Hoarfrost Reach.
- It is recommended to use the Ghillie Mantle to reduce any chances of the animal getting spooked.
- The creature seems to be extremely skittish, and will run back to it's nest at the first sight of both Hunter and Large Monster.
- The creature is able to spot the Hunter even if the base level Ghillie Mantle is equipped and the Hunter crouched the entire time.
- Be sure to use the Level 6 Zoomaster food skill to increase your chances of it spawning!

Forgot to put a description to edit, so I put it here. Remove the parts that saying the Palico can scare it, like the Crakes or any other Endemic Life in this matter, saying it does is just misinformation.

here's a tip: Anyone struggling finding this guy (how would struggle because he is very easy to catch) there is an furious rajang event where if you go to the wide area with anteka's and a big pond in that big pond you can easily spot the golden macaque in the middle of it. He doesn't run away by you presents but if you touch it or fail to net it will run away, but overall is very easy to catch.

There's seem to be always one spawn in the Monkey Business event quest

I usually find them in area 2, but I assume the gold ones appear in all hot springs like the one in the middle of the map and the BoaBoa camp. Chance of spawning is relatively high with zoomaster skill, I highly recommend getting this skill for any pet searching, if you don't have ingredients join a server with a large amount of people to borrow their ingredients.

So stupid I caught two of them on pure luck without caring early in the game, ofc I didnt have the quest active at the time. ofc It doesn't count and I need to find a third one. Why can't I just give that endemic researcher the ones I already caught????????

both the pearlspring and goldenspring macaque don't spawn during a blizzard exept fro area 17 (not tested if goldspring can spawn in area 17)

It seems like this creature is able to see through the Ghillie Mantle at close range, as one immediately started running away from me while I still had half of the mantle's timer left and no Palico with me.

The " pearl snatchers" event quest is where I got mine, so likely a guaranteed spawn on that quest
