Spawns in at least two areas, always found hopping from tree to tree and does NOT replace a woodland pteryx.
      - Eastern side of Sector 5, shares area with three other woodland pteryx.
      - Bottom of Sector 15, shares area with a woodland pteryx and the only toadstool in the sector.
      Notes:
      - Both of them share movement / route with another Woodland Pteryx.
      - Both of them can spawn at the same time.
      - Takes around 10-20 resets, sometimes more, sometimes less.

I'm not sure if there will be a reply to this but whatever, I CAN NOT FIND IT! I've looked and looked and found nothing. Is there an event quest with a guaranteed spawn or higher chance or something? I'm kind of desperate and annoyed at this point especially considering I'm trying to get more than one, any advice besides bringing the ghillie suit would be appreciated.

If you're looking for one of these, they're easily distinguishable from the Woodland Pteryx by their red head.

I caught a forest pteryx and woodland pteryx in area 5 in the Ancient Forest today. When I caught both of them, I got the largest size of the woodland pteryx which it's size is 263.40. My largest forest pteryx was 263.40, Show me your results!

They seem to spawn larger/more often mid-day during rain. Caught all of my gold crowns during rainy afternoon.
