Goldenfry is an Endemic Life creature in Monster Hunter World (MHW). These animals and insects are found out in the field, and can be captured by dedicated Hunters looking to research the New World.
Small cave-dwelling fish with precious scales, they'll try to psych you out with a nibble, so be patient - and don't wiggle your bait!

You can find Goldenfry in:
- Ancient Forest, sector 11 in a small cave where Grimalkynes often spawn.
- Wildspire Waste, sector 6 (Camp)
- Coral Highlands, sector 14
- Rotten Vale, sector 15, in an acid pool, near the Plunderer's base.
- Elder's Recess, sector ?
- Hoarfrost Reach, sector 8, in a small pond, inside the small cave where Petalcryst is also located.
Capturing Rewards
You can capture Goldenfry by using the fishing rod and pressing O at the right time.
