Gloom Gekko is an Endemic Life creature in Monster Hunter World (MHW). These animals are found out in the field, and can be captured by dedicated Hunters looking to research the New World.
What a garish color for such a dark place! It just screams, "Danger! Do not touch! And don't put me ANYWHERE near your mouth!"
Location
You can find Gloom Gekko in:
- Rotten Vale, sector 11, climb the vines in the Central Camp (11) and jump down south, they are on the wall
- Elder's Recess, sector 8 where you have to crouch to enter the Eastern Camp (8), near some Honey
Capturing Rewards
You can capture Gloom Gekko by using the infinite item "capture net" then aiming for the creature with the control's trigger and pressing Square on your controller when the outline of the frame turns orange.
- House placing: Carpet, Floor, Hearth, Entryway, Garden, Tree, Column
- Other rewards: 8 RP

- Can be seen on the Main Menu of the game when it displays the Elder's Recess.

"Danger! Do not touch! And don't put me ANYWHERE near your mouth!" Implies that at one point someone.... somewhere.... DID try and put it in their mouth..... and it was not a good idea at all
