Type Treetop

Gold Hercudrome is an Endemic Life creature in Monster Hunter World (MHW). These animals and insects are found out in the field, and can be captured by dedicated Hunters looking to research the New World.

A glistening golden beetle, thought to bring good fortune. It only appears at night.

The Bringer of Light? The Bug of Brilliant Gold? I...I'm speechless! My...my heart feels like it's been dipped in golden bliss!

Location

You can find Gold Hercudrome in:

  • Ancient Forest, sector 6 next to two thunderbugs on a vine covered log south of the Pukei-Pukei nest (Climb up the log past the toadstools then take a left and jump)
  • Wildspire Waste, upper sector 5 on a pine tree next to some Slinger Torch in a rocky passage

The Goldern Hercudrome is likely only findable at night as stated by its first capture text above

Given it is a guaranteed show at night in the spawn spots, why is it considered rare? Similar with the Prism one. It is set to spawn at a specific time in a specific spot every time.

Large gold crown seems to have higher prevalence with rain. Had Felyne Microzoologist on and caught 6 gold crown large back to back and several more that were within a point of or mere decimals away from being Crown Large despite the micro adjuster.

Going from area’s 2 > 5 using the upper ramp, take a right around the bend towards the flashbugs, you will see it on a small dead tree to the right.

Its in between sector 2 and 5. You walk through 2 towards five up a ramp and continue forward. Dont waste your time looking on the ground level, its higher up.Just watch a video as the description here is quite bad.
