Scavantula is an Endemic Life creature in Monster Hunter World (MHW). These arachnids are found out in the field, and can be captured by dedicated Hunters looking to research the New World.
These budies just love rotten meat! If you were to drop dead in the Rotten Vale, you might even be their next meal!
Location
You can find Scavantula in:
- Rotten Vale, sector 4 on the ground, sector 5 up inside a small area with bones, several in sector 1 around a pile of bones close to the exit on the left, sector 2 in the left entry.
- Guiding Lands,
Will flee when startled by a net throw, an attack, or when disturbing the bonepiles that are gathered around.
Capturing Rewards
You can capture Scavantula by using the infinite item "capture net" then aiming for the creature with the control's trigger and pressing Square on your controller when the outline of the frame turns orange.
- House placing: Carpet, Floor, Hearth, Garden

Notes
- Target of the Research Help: Scavantula Capture critical bounty in the Rotten Vale, need to capture 5 of them after receiving the bounty.
- Sizes: ♕ 41.90 ~ ♕ 62.32
- Scavantula are small and usually hard to find in the rotten vale. The easiest way is to go to Radobaan's nesting area and look near the bones or by the dirty water where the Hornetaurs can spawn. Then aim your capture net down and when the outline turns orange or red, that's when you have the spider in your sights.

Just go around a circle in sector 5 and climb up to the bonepile and you can catch 2-3 of them per loop

I found the scavantula in area 5 as specified above. They were gathered around a collectible bone pile. They do scatter quickly as they specified above so be quick with your net!
I dont have the bounty, how do you unlock it I have all palico and critical bounties completed.
