Hoarfrost Reach is a Location in Monster Hunter World (MHW) and is part of the Iceborne Expansion of September 6th 2019. This frosted land is home to dangerous monsters and recommended for Master Rank players. The last area you fight Velkhana in, once it flees to go nap, looks a bit like the final stage in Devil May Cry 5

Maybe I'm too used to the uber-creative areas of Coral Highlands and Ancient Forest - but I feel like the higher rank areas just lack a certain amount of creativity; and they end up feeling a lot like old MH areas with the transitions replaced with corridors. I'm especially disappointed with Hoarfrost Reach because it's so damn small - compared to even Elder's Recess. At least the snow physics are nice.
