Just saying, there’s a secret area in this locale. To reach it, bring a Glider Mantle and follow the Wedge Beetles. When you reach the top Wedge across the small ravine, you’ll land on a platform and have to go into a cave and have to do some wall jumping. After a while, you’ll reach a a windy area, where you Glider Mantle upward. After that, you can choose to go right or left. Going left will bring you to the peak of the Hoarfrost, where going right will present you the frozen husk of the Kushala Daora.

The last area you fight Velkhana in, once it flees to go nap, looks a bit like the final stage in Devil May Cry 5

Maybe I'm too used to the uber-creative areas of Coral Highlands and Ancient Forest - but I feel like the higher rank areas just lack a certain amount of creativity; and they end up feeling a lot like old MH areas with the transitions replaced with corridors. I'm especially disappointed with Hoarfrost Reach because it's so damn small - compared to even Elder's Recess. At least the snow physics are nice.
