If you’re having trouble fighting leg as a low rank hunter than build a water lance and kill a rathalos and make a rathalos lance (it’s the fire lance) or you could instead make a blooming lance (it has poison). Lance is easy to learn and is very defense oriented, so it is a good weapon for beginners as long as you remember to be patient as it is quite slow.

Honestly, Legiana has got to be my favourite Monster in MHW. Tobi-Kadachi might be a close second. The fights always felt really interesting, especially with my choice of weapon (mained Insect Glaive at first, now play mostly Longsword and Hammer).

Honestly, anyone who wants an interesting fight, practice the aerial moves of Insect Glaive and then fight a Legiana. You can thank me later, enjoy MH's version of a Dogfight.

what are the chances of getting a freezer sac im trying to kill zinogre by myself and the weakness of his ice

New player here, hunted this instead of paolumu. Realised it after killing it.
Took me 35mins to kill this solo

Found out a way to increase the chases of it spawning! just kill a raphinos in front of its HQ, it probably will come and eat it’s dead body

I've farmed this damn lizard 5 times breaking both its wings every time and it still has dropped ONE wing...

                • Anonymous

I HATE THIS THING, the attack that covers you in frost is sooooooooo annoying, plus they have a lot of health

                  • Anonymous

Legiana is descripted as a male in the game, I find the pronounce "it"? Rathalos is male too, Rathian a female, Teostra is make, Lunasta a female. Diablos a male, black Diablos a female in the heat.

The hammer’s incredible since it’s very weak to stun and that you fight it mainly near ledges and on slopes, making the spinning bludgeon beyond important.

hey aholes, do you knew it took me 40 minutes to find legiana on the MAIN LEGIANA quest in the game? These are pre-set spawn locations. WHY THE ***** ARE THEY NOT LISTED ON YOUR PAGE YOU HAVE EVERY OTHER USELESS BIT OF *****ING INFO ON THE DAMN THING Add a new column for every monster "Quest spawn location"

It's such an awesome dragon, but they made it so weak... this thing looks like a serious threat, and your telling me Clifford the big red dog can take it down? Video game logic, damn you...

The legiana. The embodiment of elegance.
Watch the way it flies without a problem
See as it swoops down upon it's foes
                            Beware beware the legiana's fury

                            • Anonymous

Question: So please clarify... for Legiana (High rank) Plate, you must kill the monster and carve it... (harvest it with circle).

Whereas for the Legiana Gem, to be able to get this mat, you must meet the requirements to break head, back, AND tail, and then harvest it using circle. Now it's not a guaranteed Mat, but it opens up the doorway for a CHANCE to get the mat. Is that correct?

Also, carves are different from rewards, rewards are dependent on parts broken and stuff, right? A separate set of loot.

its such a majestic dragon, it's design alone almost made up for the fact I had to farm it like 7 times for 2 legina claws , . . . almost

Equip flash pods as well as the EZ flash pod and use fire or electric element dual swords. When it's dazed or when it lands on the ground Demon slash the hell out of it's head. Does the trick for me, make sure to use Max potion and Might seed for added health and attack damage.
