Flashbug is a Material and a Pouch Item in Monster Hunter World (MHW). These useful parts are collected by Hunters to craft new Items, and can be brought along on hunts in the Item Pouch.
An insect that emits a powerful flash when it dies. Required to craft Flash Pods.
Flashbugs serve only as crafting ingredients in making Flash Pods. Unlike regular Material Items, Flashbugs can be brought to the field in the Item Pouch to enable crafting on the fly.

How to Acquire Flashbug
This Item can be obtained by completing Quests or gathering out in the field. Additionally, it can be cultivated at the Botanical Research Center in Astera.
