Cool Drink is a consumable Item in Monster Hunter World (MHW). These useful items can be crafted from materials gathered in the field and brought along on hunts.
Provides temporary relief from extreme heat.
Cool Drink can be consumed from the Item Bar while in the field to grant a buff that negates passive damage from Extreme Heat caused by certain areas of the Elder's Recess and the Elder Dragon aura of Lunastra. This effect lasts for ten minutes and is similar (but weaker) to the Heat Guard Skill.

How to Acquire Cool Drink
This Item can be obtained by Crafting or via purchase from the Provisions Stockpile in Astera. Additionally, the Supply Box at the Elder's Recess Campsites will always carry two.

AnonymousSo er Is it just me? But yknow how the Handler says "Use cool drink to help with the heat during the fight!" Well, I tried it, and you still take extreme DoT from standing too close. Am I missing something? Or is it like, "Doesn't completely negate, but reduces."?

These arent sold at the provisions stockpile. I assume i have to craft one before i can buy any but i jave no idea where to get chillshrooms. I need them when i do Zorah Magdaros quest and i dont have access to Elders Recess yet
