Slinger Thorn is Slinger Ammo Monster Hunter World (MHW).
Slinger Thorn ammo (Thorn Pods) sticks to the target and explodes when hit with an attack.
Thorn Pods can be used to stagger Monsters both when the Pod lands and when it is later struck by an attack. They also cause Stun buildup when attacked to the head.

AnonymousIf you shoot these onto a monster's face, it will apply stun damage when struck. A couple of these will easily stun a monster if you can hit it in the face, even using a severing weapon.

This stuff is still great to use against enraged monsters since unlike other ammo in iceborne, you can still get a great effect flinch shotting their face with it. A good flinch shot and some well place strikes will topple almost anything.
