Dragon Pod is Slinger Ammo in Monster Hunter World (MHW). 

 

Dragon Pods can be picked up and used as slinger ammo. They have an average mhw elderseal elderseal effect. 

 

In addition to dealing Dragon Damage, Dragon Pods also apply Elderseal to Elder Dragons, causing their Dragon auras to dissipate.
Source: Dropped by Elder Dragons, along with Golden Helmcrabs and Shiny Gold Helmcrabs found in El Dorado 

Capacity: 7
With Slinger Capacity up to 8(9 with Slinger Ammo Secret)

      It might be my eyes playing tricks, but using a devil pod on Jho's face while he was pulsing red seemed to make it go away. Does it... seal his dragon breath?

        do these work any differently in MR? Do the monsters have resistance to them? I feel like they don't do anything after shotgunning 7 into a teostra on DB
