Rathalos Alpha Armor Set in Monster Hunter World (MHW) is one of the several Armor Sets of the game. Sets are comprised of five different pieces, and can be complemented with Charms, Weapons and Mantles. Armor Sets have special effects when equipped, and combine Skills depending on the pieces equipped.

Good looking, has attack boast 3 and fire attack 4, weakness exploit 3
270 defense max 290-300
Easy to get
Most iconic monster in the whole series
Lots of different weapons
Cons:
-15 dragon and -10 thunder
Not the highest defense
Defense is lower then it’s subspecies
Azure Rathalos Alpha armor
Pros:
Higher defense then Rathalos
280 defense max 300-310
Cons:
Bad skills
Harder to kill then Rathalos
barely any weapons
-10 ice and -15 dragon
Conclusion:
Rathalos Alpha armor is way better
best value in the entire game, pretty much essential if u are using a bow for that sweet sweet critical element
