Jump Master is a Skill in Monster Hunter World (MHW).
Jump Master Effect
Jump Master is increased in level based on the amount of Equipment with this skill the hunter is using. Each level works as follows:
Level 1: Negates knockback during jumps.
Note that knockback is only negated when the Hunter's Weapon is sheathed. This still allows for unsheathing air attacks from all weapons, but not sliding windup attacks available to some Weapons.

You can increase the level of Jump Master by equipping the following items.

- Kadachi Mail Alpha (x1)
- Kadachi Mail Beta (x1)
- Kadachi Mail Alpha + (x1)
- Kadachi Mail Beta + (x1)
- Cortos Cape Alpha + (x1)
- Cortos Cape Beta + (x1)
- Rathalos Greaves (x1)
- Rathalos Greaves Alpha (x1)
- Rathalos Greaves Beta (x1)
- Pride Greaves Alpha + (x1)
- Pride Greaves Beta + (x1)
- Rider's Charm (x1)

Long story short, we did notice.

Worthless skill is worthless. Seen thread after thread of it not working with any attacks. Completely useless for Insect Glaive (if it did work, this skill would be great for them) It only works if you're jumping off a cliff with no weapon out. Which begs to question why would you give a*****?

no it does work just not in the way you've assumed with the glaive it prevents you from being knocked out of the air by friendlies
For some reason in iceborne this doesnt even seem to work when sheathed. I use hammer and dont attack just jump from ledge with evade or sprint without weapon out.

Got so excited for this... finally made Drachen Armour, True Soul and TGB... go to the charm forge, see the rider charm, say to myself "Wow that's perfect for this loadout!" Nope, no knockback immunity whatsoever on vaults. RIP Daora gem. Who knows, maybe they'll buff it someday. It's not like it would be broken or anything, you still take damage.

Was wondering if the Lance hop counts as a tiny jump, which could be good for allowing you to idk, make more consistent hits if you don’t have to recoil while hopping?

This seems to be working while jumping if you're NOT attacking. As soon as you commit to an attack during your jump, the knockback resistance is off.

Doesn't count for GS aerials. Maybe it's just anti-roar/wind during the jump but not the attack?
Also does not work during Longsword's Helmsplitter jump. Sad times.

Whats the point in having this in the game if it doesn't work with insect glave. smh

Does not work for dual blades blender slide jump while in air or just regular jump blender either .

I got knocked back with SnS jump attacks with this on, still. I don't know if flinch free would stack with this, but it doesn't seem to help with those jump attacks regardless.

Does this work with the clutch claw?
