Scoutfly Range Up is a Skill in Monster Hunter World (MHW).
Scoutfly Range Up Effect
Scoutfly Range Up is increased in level based on the amount of Equipment with this skill the hunter is using. Each level works as follows:
Level 1: Expands your scoutflies' detection range.
Equipment that grants Scoutfly Range Up
You can increase the level of Scoutfly Range Up by equipping the following items.
- Surveyor's Charm (x1)
- None
Load more
This is very useful when exploring new maps, as your flies only need to reach an object to mark it on the map. You don't need to actually pick things up to mark them. It's available right at the start of the game on the Hunter set helmet, I believe. It requires only simple materials and some Jagras hides, if I remember right.
