The main issue with this is that most monsters that use any single element(ie teostra, velkhana, kirin) pretty much have immunity to that type of elemental damage. So if you're going against a single monster, then you'll only ever use half at most of the set bonus. While it having +20 for all elemental resistances is good against elemental damage and pretty much gives you blight immunity asw, it's far easier to just actually use blight immunity, as the actual amount of elemental attacks aren't that common, even for element focused monsters(usually just part of the equation for breath attacks, thunder strikes and the like). Funnily enough, the absolute best monster that this set is good for is Alatreon itself, maybe to make it easier to help other ppl beat it? However,

I read that the way this works is "Exact math is 5% of the sum of every element defense you have. Let say that you somehow make a build with 40 element defense across all 5 element, the total elemental defense would be 200" does this mean that if you have a negative resistance to a certain element it would lower your damage bonus in this calculation?

so to anyone who really wants to know:
ppl made the maths and the damage buff you get is garbage... unless you want to make a super elemental tanky build with a tiny element buff go ahead but true crit element still beats this by miles

QUICK QUESTION: Blast element does count in this buff? or not?

I think it works for that element, but also works for status elements: blast, paralysis, poison Etc.

So, how this set bonus work? Is that mean if my my dragon resistance up, the elemental damage increase is dragon elemental only? or it can incrase any elemental weapon equiped?
