RRRRRumble in the Waste! is an Optional Quest in Monster Hunter World (MHW). Optional quests are repeatable and unlocked after completing specific points in the main story via Assignments.
sigh I've already told you what I want you to do. Run along now and complete this quest if you want your new toy.

RRRRRumble in the Waste! Information
- Conditions: HR 13 or higher, requires having sighted both HR Diablos and HR Black Diablos(both are target from the event quest This Is How Revolts Start). Quest given by Third Fleet Master, located in the Research Base, after progressing the quest chain starting with A Tingling Taste.
- Failure Conditions: Time expires, Faint 3 times.
- Notable Reward: Affinity Booster, Astera Beer ingredient

Need more detail about this quest.
If you want to get Affinity Booster earlier, don't beat Xeno'jiiva on MHW Assignment Quest.
If you beat Xeno'jiiva, Third Fleet Master will move to Seliana, so this quest will not appear.
If you have beaten Xeno'jiiva but you want to get Affinity Booster, you have to beat Iceborne, then Third Fleet Master will come back to Research Base and this quest can be triggered.

I can't get this quest because the Third Fleet Master is stuck at the council table in the Iceborne storyline. I'm at the part where i just killed a Blackveil Vaal Hazak.

I have Research Level 4 on regular Diablos and 3 on Black Diablos. Both main story and dls story completed so the third fleet Master is back were supposed to be. It's the only level 7 quest i miss and everything else (arenas included) are completed, what am i doing wrong?

I had Research Level 3 on regular Diablos and both HR Diablos Arena quests completed without unlocking this quest or "Well, That Diablos!"
Unlocked both quests once I had Research Level 2 on Black Diablos.
If you can't unlock this quest, or for that matter, any quest that is part of a chain that requires killing a certain monster, you probably do not have enough RESEARCH! Make sure you are always doing your part by sniffing those monster poos or you will be missing out on a lot of optional quests.

Does anyone know what to do because I finish the quest what I am suppose to do but some how I can’t do the rrrrrumble quest when I talked to the Third Fleet Master. If anyone knows what to do please tell me I will be appreciated. Thank You!!

For anyone having trouble getting this in Iceborne (I am the comment a couple down), You just need to get far enough in the main quest, specifically after killing Shara Ishvalda. The third fleet master then returns to the Research Base where she offered me the quest finally. Hope this helps someone, it was driving me nuts.

I'm struggling with unlocking this quest as well. I did all the other chain missions including the delivery and i've discovered/hunt black diablos in HR multiple times, but I still cannot unlock this quest?

Hello, I am having an incredibly difficult time getting this quest. I have read every guide, every wiki entry + comments and the threads on here as well and no solution has worked for me. I am HR 99, MR 20. I decided to go back and do old optional quests because I am missing quite a few mantles and boosters. I had done the affinity booster quest line all the way to A Sore Site, which is the quest before the final one, RRRRRumble in the jungle. After completing A Sore Site, I am supposed to talk with the Third Fleet Master. However, she is no longer in the research base, she is in Seliana now, and she will not give me a quest. I tried redoing the optional quests leading up again. I have delivered every delivery quest. I have discovered Diablos and Black Diablos, whose respective research levels are now 9 and 6, and I have captured them both numerous times. Has anyone run into this issue? Have I encountered a bug? I have seen others comment about doing this quest in Iceborne so I cant be locked out of it. My only last idea is maybe to finish the Iceborne main quest and then maybe she will go back to her normal npc behavior and not talk about the elders im currently tracking? Any ideas would be appreciated XD

For those coming back to do this in Iceborne, I hadn't discovered Black Diablos at all and discovered+fought one during a MR Expedition and was still unable to get this quest from the Third Fleet Researcher, so I went on a few HR Expeditions til I found one in HR and that triggered being able to get the quest.

It just hit me. The entire Affinity Booster questline is just the entire Third Fleet asking you for beer.

I managed to get the quest finally. Do all of the quests in the research base, including deliveries, AND make sure you have first discovered a black diablos! I've killed tempered ones as parts of investigations before but these do not count for some reason... I kept doing expeditions to Wildspire Waste until I found one. Then go and speak to the 3rd fleet master.

Forgot to put, but pretty obvious you need to go to (ASTERA) for the 2 deliveries then go to the (RESEARCH CENTRE) to continue

So in this set of quests, each time you complete one you have to go the the (RESEARCH CENTRE) NOT!! (ASTERA) and there will be an exclamation mark there speak with the person and BOOOM you will unlock the next quest in the sequence.

I'm so confused... Hr 64, when i'm bored I do solo expeditions and kill tons of diablos and black diablos but never got this(finished main story). Any advice?

I got this quest just by discovering high rank and black diablos, didn't need to hunt either.

To get the affinity Booster you have to speak to the leaderin of the 3rd fleet again. (after finishing RRRRRrumble in the waste).

I completed this quest and did not get the affinity booster, only the beer ingredient. is this a bug or a pc thing?

To get this mission you have to defeat a black diablos. -White

One of the most bs quests ever. If you arent waiting or running from one or the other tunneling after you constantly, you got a bezel constantly trying to follow the fights(my case anyways). Simple quest, but be prepared to waste a bunch of dung bombs, pots, and time.

I had to complete the optional quest "Well, That Diablos!" for "RRRRRumble in the Waste!" to unlock after all prerequisites were done.

Hey i cant get a masters toast to unlock for me ive done a tingling taste but it wont give me the quest

Wrong, you get it after delivering the "A fire spewing brew from the cheerful scholar. Too much false info on this wiki. Don't post if you don't know.
I just discover she will back to research base if you finish second assign MR. For who cant find her after Mission Iceborne start just kill Banbaro.
