AnonymousI can confirm that this material only drops from regular Kirin in the Guiding Lands. Tempered Kirin does not drop this material.

Okay, so how do I get it? Does it come from a specific kind of Kirin? I've hunted Master Rank Kirin's before several times and never got it
It is not mentioned here, but its used for Custom Upgrades (Elemental lvl 5)
