I have, no joke, fought this monster 19 times over the course of three days as a normal quest. Mostly solo, head broken and tail severed almost every hunt, yet no mantle. The only way you can expect to get one is if you have an investigation for him with at least a silver and gold slot. Better your chances with a lucky voucher if you can, I wasted three of them. The drop rate for this mantle is ridiculously low and the only logical explanation as to why it's this way is the programmer made a mistake when typing in a value.

This thing is impossible to get! I've been farming Glavenus for the mantle for an entire day straight and haven't gotten ONE.
Absolutely degenerate droprate only got one after capturing acidic glavinus after braking both head and tail, got it as a bonus reward.
