The page says you get them from Brute Tigrex, But you get them from normal Tigrex (The link does lead to Regular Tigrex's page). Can someone remove the word Brute.

Got only 1 from 2 acidic glavenus MR investigation. Got 2 Glavenus mantle in those 2 investigations. This solid bone drop rate sucks.

When clicking on all monsters in the list above not one shows the monster solidbone. monster hardbone, slogbone etc. According to reddit it is only the brute tigrex and acidic gavenus that has them?

So does Azure Rath drop this or the Hardbones? Seems out of place here.
They have a decent chance to drop from "In the Depths of the Forest" event quest, that's currently going on on PC.

Also, sending out your kitties to hunt the above monsters will net you some of these bones rarely. I find the best luck with sending them after Acidic Glavenus or Fulgur Anjanath. Almost seems like it's a "fail" reward when they do badly and don't bring me any scale/drop rewards.

So there seems to be a little confusion as to where these come from. A lot of people are confused because according to the Hunter's Notes in the game, the only monster that drops these as a reward is Brute Tigrex, and the information on just about every wiki confirms this. And yet, numerous players have reported getting them from other monsters besides Brute Tigrex. This has lead to a little bit of a debate over where and how you actually obtain Monster Solidbones. I've been looking into this myself, and I'm pretty sure I've found the answer to the whole thing. The game and the wiki are accurate. The only monster you can obtain Monster Solidbones from is Brute Tigrex. So why are people getting them from other monsters? Because they also drop as specific quest rewards. Websites that have datamined drop rates for Monster Solidbone show that a crap ton of quests have Monster Solidbones as part of their loot pool. Unfortunately, there's no way to tell which quest rewards are from the quest loot pool and which quest rewards are from the monster loot pool when you actually get them in the game, so a lot of people are mistakenly thinking that they can get them from Diablos or Glavenus because they got it in their rewards screen after hunting Diablos/Glavenus, when in reality it wasn't from the monster loot table, it was from the quest loot table. Basically, you can get Monster Solidbones from a crap ton of different quests that offer them as rewards for completing the quest, but the only actual monster that you can get Monster Solidbones from regardless of the quest is Brute TIgrex. This is the conclusion I arrived to after about an hour or two of researching it online/running quests in-game, so its completely possible that I overlooked something or made an error, so if anyone has information that disproves this, please feel free to reply and point it out. I'd feel really bad if I was giving out information that turned out to be false. :D
