Waterblight is a Status Effect from an Elemental Damage type in Monster Hunter World (MHW). Monsters with Water Element will produce aqueous attacks that can result in this status. Elemental Blights can only be inflicted on Hunters by Monster attacks.

Effect on Hunters
While under the effects of Waterblight, a Hunter will recover Stamina at one third the normal rate. This effect lasts one minute.
Curing Waterblight
Waterblight can be cured by consuming a Nulberry or using a Cleanser Booster, or it can be prevented entirely by having 20 Water Resistance, the Blight Resistance Skill, the Blight Res Up or Blight Negated effects from the Hunting Horn, or by wearing the Waterproof Mantle.
Alternatively, it can be countered by increasing Stamina recovery with the Stamina Surge Skill.
Dodge-rolling will take about one second off the remaining effect duration.

AnonymousI'm trying to figure out this element thing, says hunters just have element skills to use for monsters that are weak to it and we dont get to cause secondary effects like blights? But I can cause waterblight to any monster I fight, is this only because my kinsect counts as a monster on monster attack? I dont see any blight effect with my weapon I dont think, never paid attention just to the bug making water flow out of the monsters mouth and then they will pause to rest alot in the middle of fighting.
Banbaro, Beotodus and Tigrex can inflict iceblight, as seen in the beta.
Tigrex can inflict waterblight, too, when flinging ice. I got it when I was hunting it.
Can someone change the weapon format so that the weapon types are laid side-by-side?
