AnonymousThere is a way to solo farm gems, see Youtube. Here is a quick guide: 1. Equip armor / decorations with Heavy Artillery. You can find this skill on High Metal Greaves, Brigade Vambraces and Heavy Artillery charm. This decreases the amount of cannon shots from 13 to 11. 2. Equip armor / decorations with Partbreaker. I haven't tested myself if this lets you deal more damage to her horns, maybe it does nothing. You can find this skill on Uragaan and Deviljho armor, Black Diablos Coil and Breaker Charm. 3. You can also equip armor / decorations with Pro Transporter to load cannons faster, but this isn't necessary. 4. If you have the Commision armor set, equip it for an extra carve = higher chance of getting gems. 5. If you have enough Vouchers, pay for a meal and get six green = Brew-Lover = more carves = higher chance of getting gems. You can also get lucky and get the food skill without a Voucher. 6. Enter the Kulve quest. Take a Stone for your slinger and jump down. You can use your slinger to grab the Wedge Beetle before you hit the ground. 7. This is the annoying part: Depending on where she spawns, you will need to find a cannon which can hit her multiple times. For this guide, I will assume she spawned in the Northeast part of the map. Don't go to the cannon directly on your left, but to the next one which is a few seconds of running forward. 8. Push the cannon so it points towards the path Kulve will walk in your direction. Start loading the cannon (5 balls maximum). 9. While you load the cannon and she is walking, look at her path - there are boulders above it which can be dropped down by hitting them with your slinger. When she has her head beneath the boulders, stop loading the cannon and fire your slinger at the boulders. 10. If you are fast, you can run over to her and lay down barrels, then explode them on her head. But be ready to get back to the cannon before she rises back up and starts walking again. 11. Once she rises back up (and your cannon is aiming at her), shoot the cannon. It should hit her head five times. With max Heavy Artillery, they should deal 432 damage each (at least in the Youtube video). 12. Reload the cannon. She will keep on walking and stop right in front of you; push the cannon accordingly to hit her head again. 13. If you hit the boulders and every cannon shot with maximum Heavy Artillery, it should take 11 cannon shots to deal around 6000 damage total. If Partbreaker works, you will only need around 4650 damage, which is boulders plus 7 cannon shots. She will drop a big chunk of gold which you can at least three times, more if you have carving buffs.

On PC right now this is like a 2%ish carve from the Kulve Taroth Gold lump that drops off her horns when you damage them for the first time, i.e before the Chipped Horns150 and the Broken Horns500.

If you want this, but the quest is unavailable, you can still trade it for gold wyverian print at elder melded. If you finish the whole quest line of the researchers, you can get one for each. Befriend galajaka = lynian researcher, catch ancient fish = fisherman , catch phantom bird =eco girl

I been playing that event for a whole week never got one and on the last day of the event it was over. Never complete the set. Now kulve taroth coming back in the 25 of may now here we good AGAIN.

50+ hours of straight farming and grinding this event. Completed it successfully over 8 times, killed every single Gajalaka, collected every single gold shard, footprint, etc., picked up every single item, broken the gold plating 15+ times, broke every part possible, carved the horns 16+ times, the rewards screen didn't give it to me, and neither did the siege rewards screen with the Hub Lass, and for some god forsaken reason,

Went from 101 to 117 purely grinding for this damn thing and you need two of them for the full armor set.
