Dung is a Material and a Pouch Item in Monster Hunter World (MHW). These useful parts are collected by Hunters to craft new Items, and can be brought along on hunts in the Item Pouch.
Exudes a prodigious smell. Used to make ammo for your Slinger called Dung Pods.
Dung serves only as a crafting ingredient in making Dung Pods for the Slinger. Unlike regular Material Items, Dung can be brought to the field in the Item Pouch to enable crafting on the fly.

How to Acquire Dung
This material can be obtained by gathering out the field. There are several areas of all Locations where Large Monsters regularly leave Dung. In addition, Dung will often attract Dung Beetles, which produce additional Rolled-up Dung.
