so upon reading a few threads, someone suggested duel blades since mcnerg holds his tail close to the ground, it's easy to hit and dual blades are quick leaving you ample speed to dodge if he rounds on you. stay solo, equip the shield so your cat holds aggro and go to town on that tail. i cut it halfway thru and got the tail on my very first try. lovey! let me know if it works for you!

70% chance to get tail off severed tail my ass i did the fight many time never got the tail this is bull*****you cut off the tail you get the tail thats how it should be end of story get your heads out of you asses devs and fix this especially on hard fights like nerge its not exactly easy yo cut off his tail with how much he moves around the fighting area
