Coalescence is a Skill in Monster Hunter World: Iceborne (MHW:IB).
Coalescence Effect
Coalescence is increased in level based on the amount of Equipment with this skill the hunter is using. Each level works as follows:
Level 1: While active, grants Attack + 12, Element attack power +30, and Status buildup +5%- Level 2: While active, grants Attack + 15, Element attack power +60, and Status buildup +10%
- Level 3: While active, grants Attack + 18, Element attack power +90, and Status buildup +15%
All levels of the buff last 90 seconds.
Equipment that grants Coalescence
You can increase the level of Coalescence by equipping the following items.
- Phoenix Charm I (x1)
- Phoenix Charm II (x2)
- Phoenix Charm III (x3)
AnonymousAlot of people, even veterans tend to sleep on this skill even though it's godlike when pared with the blight resist and stun resist from fatalis armor. Get attack boost to level 4 just for that 5% affinity and add peak performance as a cherry on top.

There is also a Phoenix/Constitution level 12 jewel. This thing is a bomb for bow builds

TLDR, remove status/abnormalities such as stun, fire, poison, etc from your hunter, gain a dmg/status/elem bonus for a short time, unaffected by prolonger, and best paired with blight res lvl 2, but not 3 so you may remove blights faster (for instance purposefully catching fire by rolling into a patch of flames on the ground, then removing with a single roll or two for a dmg buff)

I'd like to point out it says "You can increase the level of Poison Resistance by equipping the following items." Skill name needs to be fixed

AT Velkhana Helmet gives this at max level + Crisis/Resuscitate... It is addicting on IG. Hard to take off.
